The Oxford Astra Zeneca has developed the Covishield vaccine and, in India, is being manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII).

For both vaccines, there is no difference in terms of dosage. Both vaccines are administered as 0.5ml in the upper arm area.

The storage guidance for both Covishield and Covaxin vaccines is the same. Both vaccines are guided to stored at the 2-8o Centigrade temperature.

The suggested temperature for both vaccines is like the household refrigerator temperature.

Because of the temperature, it makes it easier to transport and store vaccines.

The temperature is also suited to Indian conditions, as most vaccines are kept at the same temperature.
