The main reason for the heavy demand for electric vehicles is because of these high prices of petrol and diesel on which no one is taking the effort to raise a voice.

Tata Motors claimed that they have sold out nearly 13,500 vehicle units of Nexon EV till now since its launch in January 2020.

For the last couple of months, the Tata electric SUV Nexon EV is registering the best sales performance consecutively among all the electric cars that are available in India.

The Tata Nexon EV offers the around 310 KM range on a single charge. It comes with a similar design to its standard variant, but there are distinctive styling elements.

Mahindra e-Verito’s new variant offers around 180 KM in a single charge.

Hyundai Kona EV

Hyundai Kona was the first pure electric SUV launched in India, which offers around 450 KM of range on a single charge.

The range offered by the Kona EV is the highest among the all mass segments of electric cars in the Indian market.

The EV car competes with the Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV, however, it comes with a high range price ranging from Rs. 23.79 Lakh.

MG ZS EV

Benz EQC offers around 450 KM of range on a single charge which comes with a power of 80 kWh battery.

Jaguar launched its first-ever electric car I-Pace crossover in India. The I-Pace competes with Mercedes Benz EQC, Audi e-Tron and many more.

The price range of the I-Pace is also the same as the Benz EQC starting from Rs. 1.05 crore to Rs. 1.12 crore. The I-Pace EV car offers a range of 470 KM on a single charge.

The electric car has capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds. It comes with a powerful battery pack of 90 kWh.

Audi e-Tron

Audi e-Tron has entered the Indian electric car market with its competitors of Mercedes Benz and BMW,  electric car Audi e-Tron comes in two variants.

The electric car comes in a high price range of Rs. 99 Lakh and Rs. 1.17 crore.

The electric car is available in two different battery pack options.

The first variant of Audie e-Tron comes with a powerful battery pack of 71 kWh variant, which has an acceleration power of 0 to 100 km in just 6.8 seconds.

The second variant of the Audie e-Tron comes with a powerful battery pack of 95 kWh variants, which has an acceleration power of 0 to 100 km in just 5.7 seconds.

These two variants of an Audi e-Tron electric car offer 379 km and 484 km on a single charge respectively.

The electric car offers a fast charging technology by which you can charge up to 80 per cent from 0 in just 30 minutes.
