Eligibility Criteria to Get into Indian Air Force after 12th

Educational Requirements: Aspirants must have cleared 12th with mathematics and physics as principal subjects. The candidates also apply who are appearing for the final year of examination.

Visual Standards Required to Get into the Indian Air Force after 12th

The visual standards required for the candidate willing to join the Air force after the 12th are as below. The distance vision of the aspirants should be at least 6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 in the more critical eye. As per the visual standards, the candidate’s Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and Hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. Last but more important the candidate having spectacles will be not fitted for Air force

Process of Joining Indian Air Force after 12th

The aspirants once appear for the NDA exam to get into the Air force after the 12th, the results of the exam declares. After the NDA exam, only the candidates who have cleared the entrance exam will have to appear for the SSB interview. The selected candidates will have to appear for the aptitude test known as a Pilot Aptitude Battery Test(PABT).

The PABT test conduct to check the ability of the candidate to be a good pilot. Once the candidate clears the PABT test, sent for the medical examinations. Once the medical examination is done the merit list is prepared.
