NEET Counselling 2021 Date, Process, Allotment Fee Details
After the declaration of the result of NEET 2021, the dates for the NEET 2021, are now announced by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC ) and NTA.
The counselling process of NEET 2021 is expected to start from the first week of November.
For the admissions of near 83, 000 MBBS, 27,00 BDS, 52,700 AYUSH, 1,900 AIIMS, and 250 JIPMER, the counselling of NEET 2021 will be conducted.
For the 85% of quota seats of state, the authorities of the individual states are responsible while the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will be conducted 15% of All India Quota(AIQ) seats for NEET Counselling.
It is expected that near October 15, NTA will be released the NEET 2021 Result, based on this result the qualification cut off marks will be decided.
The whole process of the NEET Counselling 2021 includes the registration, you have to register first for this and then it includes fee payment, choice filling, and last seat allotment which is based on the NEET scores, criteria for reservation, and a number of seats.
To offer admission for MBBS or BDS generally 3 rounds of counselling are conducted including the Mop-Up round.

Dates of NEET Counselling 2021
Applicants must have to take note here that the admissions in Central and Deemed Universities, admission under-seat reserved for Wards of Insured Persons in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation in medical college, and admission in Armed Forces Medical College Pune will be based on the NEET 2021 counselling.

Eligibility for NEET Counselling?
- Applicants who secure a minimum of 50% in NEET will be considered qualified in the exam. For SC or ST or OBC candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% and 45% for the general physically handicapped candidates.
- To become eligible for the counselling process applicants must have to register themselves on the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) official website.
- Furthermore, excluding the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, the ministry releases a list of qualified candidates under AIQ (All India Quota)
Eligibility Criteria for Central University
Delhi University (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC):
The applicants who are completed their 11th and 12th from Delhi are only eligible for 85% of the institutional quota seats. The remaining 15% of the seats will be reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ).
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
In the AMU the 50% of seats will be reserved for the applicants who are studying in their school for the last three years or more, while the other 50% of the remaining seats will be given to the other candidate who is qualified NEET.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
In the BHU no special reservation is given, the candidates who are qualifying NEET are all eligible to take admission in the BHU.
Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi
From the 50 seats available for the BDS, only 3 seats will be reserved for the candidates who have passed the 10th or 12th from their own school and the remaining 47 BS seats will be available for all who are qualified NEET.
Criteria for OCI Counselling Candidates
Order regarding the participation of OCI candidates in the counselling process passed by the Supreme Court on 29th Sep 2021.
The OCI candidates can able to apply under the open category seats in part with the Indian Citizens from this year onward.
Seat Increment in College and Seats
The number of medical colleges participating in the All India Quota (AIQ) has been increased this year. This increment in the number of colleges and seats will confirm helpful for applicants.
This year nearby 45 colleges are increased, past year there were 193 medical colleges which become 235 under the All India Quota counselling.
This increment in the number of colleges indirectly increases the number of seats available to 4591 from 4064.
Listing of Documents Required for NEET 2021 Counselling
Following is the list of documents required for NEET 2021, we are suggesting to carry the original documents with the attested photocopy of each document for the counselling process.

85% State Quota seats Counselling
Candidates can apply for their domicile state and merit list as per the rules of state for state quota and other seats coming under the scope of the state.
Particular state authorities conducted the counselling of private medical colleges. Applicants need to register on the official website of the particular state’s counselling.
On the basis of the candidates rank in the state’s merit list counselling will be conducted.
Based on the state counselling the admissions of the Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana will be done individually.
15% State Quota seats Counselling
15% All India Quota seats for the Counselling will be held by the (Directorate General of Health Services) and the Government of India.
For the online counselling all the deemed, central, and state universities will be participating and also the seats for the BHU, AMU, AFMC, and ESIC will also be filled this counselling.
As per the directions given by the Directorate General of Health Services applicants can be applied and seats left after 2 rounds of counselling will be adjusted in the Mop-Up round, For the 15% of the All India Quota seats.
The Candidates who participated in the All India Counselling can also be able to participate in the State Counselling of their individual states.
2021 NEET Counselling Procedure
Step 1: Registration for NEET 2021 Counselling
Step I:
For the registration, you have to visit MCC official website, on the website find the “New Registration” and click on that.
As showing in the above image, you have to mention your roll number, application number, applicant or candidate name, applicants mother name, date of birth, mobile number, email id, and a captcha security pin. Remember all these fields are required and you must have to fill each field to submit the form.
Once you fille the form you are roll number and password will be generated, which you have to use to register for a NEET Counselling.
Step II
after the step I one click onto the candidate login on the MCC official website.
Step III
For the candidate login, you have to enter generate roll number and password.
Step IV
Once you click login to the candidate login, you will be redirected to the new page on which you have to enter the details like Name, roll number, registration number, mother name, contact number, after filling in this all information click on submit.
Step V
After submitting the form, for the verification purpose, it will show you data of your details, verify each detail shown as this is the last step where you can change your detail.
After verification of all details clicks on the Confirm Registration, after the successful registration, the registration slip will be generated which you have to save.
Step 2: Fee Payment of NEET Counselling
After the successful registration, the candidate has to pay the non-refundable registration fee and a refundable tuition fee for the NEET 2021 Counselling.
There is an option available to pay fees online, by which applicants can pay using a Credit card or Debit card or Net banking.
Before starting the registration process it is recommended to carry the card by which you can pay the fee online, so the registration process can be done smoothly.

Step 3: Exercising Option Entry and Locking
In this step, you can lock your choice which will be available on a given day.
In this step, applicants must have to submit their preferences, while doing these preferences you have to keep in mind that you have to score well as admission will base on the merit list.
You can choose as many colleges as you want from the list visible on the screen.
You can arrange the colleges by your preferences by moving them up and down and also you can delete them, once this list is final enter the password and click on “Lock Choices”.
Before click on “Lock Choices” confirm the list once, because the applicant can not be changed anything after the click on “Lock Choices”.
Once you lock the choices take a printout that includes the locking data and time.
Step 4: Release of Seat Allotment Result
In last after each counselling MCC will release the seat allotment result, the result will be released in the form of a list, in which the seat allotment letter of the selected candidate will be available.
To complete and finish this admission process report to the allotted college with this allotment letter and documents required to finish this process.
