How Does Summer Affect Your Skin?

As the climate gets changes during the summer and gets more generous and the humidity increases in the atmosphere. Our skin’s sebaceous glands start making extra natural oil (sebum).

The oil sweated gets stuck onto the surface of our skin and leads to blocked pores and stickiness.

The most common problem that occurs during the summer is Acne breakouts. People who have oily skin are more inclined to this as the bacteria and oils in the skin mix with the sweat causing blocked pores and acne.

Melanin production increases in order to save your skin from sun harm when your skin is exposed to damaging UV rays. Melanin has photoprotective grades.

Melanin in excess results in darker, tanned skin. Other problems can include itchy skin, prickly heat, sunburn, and rash due to sensitivity to the sun.

A good sunscreen with SPF 30-50 is required for the summer season for all types of skin, even if you remain indoors most of the time. If you go for swimming, we will suggest you apply sunscreen multiple times.

Use the aloe vera and cucumber-based toner as they are lighter and prevent the sweat and oil from blocking these pores.

Good Skin Care Routine

Have a good skincare routine and follow it regularly. Get a good gel-based for dry skin and water-based for oily skin rather than using a cream-based product as the former is lighter and non-greasy.

Moisturizing, cleansing, and toning your skin twice a day, will help to keep your skin clean and fresh.

Face Wash to Remove Excess Oil

Oily skin gets more oily during the summer and for this use a face wash that is best suited for your skin type and can help to deep cleanse and remove all the dirt and filth.
