The oil sweated gets stuck onto the surface of our skin and leads to blocked pores and stickiness.

The most common problem that gets occurs during the summer is Acne breakouts. Peoples who are having oily skin are more inclined to this as the bacteria and oils in the skin mix with the sweat causing blocked pores and acne.

1. Drink More Water & Fruit Juices

It is most recommended to drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water and this is not only during the summer but during all seasons.

Drinking a lot of water helps you to have hydrated during the summer and protects you a lot. Drinking water also makes a glow on your skin and it is important regarding several health issues and helps to flush out the toxins from our body.

Drink many fruit juices from coconut water, and watermelons to muskmelons which help you to stay hydrated during summer. With this include the yogurt and buttermilk in your diet.

2. Wear Sunscreen

During the summer the UV-A and UV-B rays of the sun can be very harsh and besides gives you a relentless tan.

These rays can damage your skin and can cause premature aging, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles.

A good sunscreen with SPF 30-50 is required for the summer season for all types of skin, even if you remain indoors most of the time. If you go for a swimming, we will suggest you to apply sunscreen multiple times.

3. Go For Seasonal Fruits And Vegetables

Include salads in your meals, especially vegetables like cucumber and lettuce in your food. All of these will help you to stay your body cool from the inside.

Seasonal fruits like watermelons, and musk melons; citrus fruits and juices will also help to keep your skin healthy during the summer.

4. Wear Breathable Fabrics

Use light loose clothes during the summer and use cotton clothes which is the best fabric to wear during the summer. Try to avoid synthetic fabrics and tight-fitting garments.

If you wear tight-fitting clothes in synthetic fabric it can make you discomfort and makes you sweat more. This can tend to be any type of infection and can make your skin itchy.

5. Have A Bath Twice A Day

During the summer you sweat a more and for this to maintaining hygiene becomes very important. A cool bath in the evening after entering a home by doing all work makes you a fresh and little energetic.

Both morning and evening showers ideally should be followed with a purification, toning and moisturizing routine. And especially this evening bath gives you a refreshment which you need during these hot and sweaty days.

6. Stay Away From Sugary Drinks

Try to avoid drinks that contain sugar in them, this will make you feel slow due to the extra sugar. By drinking these drinks no extra value will be added to your health or body as these drinks don’t have a hydrating quality.

7. Moisturize Well

To protect your skin during the summer a moisturizer is the most important. Based on your skin type you can choose a non-greasy formula.

Look for ingredients like antioxidants vitamins A and C. Having an SPF is even better. Don’t forget to apply a moisturizer immediately after your bath.

8. Use A Good Toner

If you use a good toner it can be effectively close your open pores. The maximum number of greasy glands are found on the T-Zone of the face.

Use the aloe vera and cucumber based toner as they are lighter and to prevent the sweat and oil from blocking these pores.

9. Opt For A Good Skin Care Routine

Have a good skincare routine and follow it regularly. Get a good gel-based for dry skin and water-based for oily skin rather than using a cream-based product as the former is lighter and non-greasy.

Moisturizing, cleansing and toning your skin twice a day, this will helps to keep your skin clean and fresh.

10. Face Wash to Remove Excess Oil

Oily skin gets more oily during the summer and for this use a face wash that is best suited for your skin type and can help to deep cleanse and remove all the dirt and filth.

Using a non-foaming cleanser for dry skin type will help you better, try to use a face wash whenever you come from outside during the summer. This will also help to remove a tan from your skin.
